Had we no memories we could believe we are living in vain.
My photos portray the southern places I have lived in, as well as the rooms I wish I had lived in.
My works mean to narrate the stories which we are unlikely to hear on a bus, in the street or even at school, and which, nonetheless, we all need in order to feel alive, with hopes, dreams and wishes.
They are patches of an endearing past.
A portion of ageless time.
A swing between the lighthearted childhood and the wise adult age.
The characters of past come alive and swap roles.
They claim a continuity between two different moments of everyone’s life, merging them into one, because time is a trick, which calls memory something which might have just happened.
